Learner’s Permit
Anyone, regardless of age is eligible to complete the Florida Permit Test (Class E Knowledge Exam) in person at our office. It does not matter how old you are, or how, where, or with whom you completed the 4 hour first time driver drug and alcohol course.
Benefits of taking the Florida Driving Test at our office: – Take the test at our convenient comfortable office. – Available in Spanish, English. – No wait time to re-take permit exam or Immediate re take available Our Florida Driving Test is for those getting a learner permit or getting a Florida Driver’s License. The Florida Class E Driver/Permit Exam will consist of 50 questions that will cover road signs and road rules: This license is for any of the vehicles listed under Class E being driven by a person 15 years of age, or persons learning to drive. Class E Learner’s License Exam – Minimum Age 15 If you are under 18 and are not married, your license application must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. Step-parents may not sign for you unless they have legally adopted you. |

The Class E Drivers license is for any non-commercial motor vehicles with Gross Vehicle Weight Rating less than 26,001 pounds. These rating includes the following types of vehicles:

Advanced Driver Improvement – 12 Hour A.D.I.
Our 12 hour A.D.I (Advanced Driver Improvement) class, is for drivers that require advanced driver improvement training.
We want to identify driving behaviors that develops troublesome driving habits, so we can help you advance in your driving skills. By completing the A.D.I training course, you will be better prepared to make better choices to determine future driving behavior. The A.D.I class is taken when a Court Order, Point Suspension or HTO (Habitual Traffic Offender) was issued. When you are looking for an A.D.I due to a court order, the student needs to provide the citation information. When you are looking for an A.D.I due to point suspension or HTO (Habitual Traffic Offender), the student must inform the school at the time of enrollment. |
Intermediate Driver Improvement – 8 Hours I.D.I
The 8 hour I.D.I (Intermediate Driver Improvement) course is similar to the 4 hour class, but it provides more detailed information on driver safety.
In SOME COUNTIES this course may be taken in place of the 4 hour course, to avoid points for the second traffic violation. This applies if you have already taken a 4 hour course within the past twelve months. Please see the list of County Clerks of Court, and contact the clerk of court in the county in which the ticket was received to verify if they accept the 8 hour Program. This course may also be taken due to a judge ordering the completion of an 8 hour program for a particular citation. |
Basic Driver Improvement – 4 Hours B.D.I
The 4-hour B.D.I Basic Driver Improvement Course is the most common class to avoid points on your driver’s license.
The B.D.I 4 hour course, is required by the Department of Highway safety and motor vehicles for anyone who receives a simple moving violation and opts in to attend a traffic school, instead of points being assessed against their driving record. The 4 hour course is the most widely taken course. It can also be taken as a TCAC (Traffic Collision Avoidance Course), and as defensive driving course for an insurance discount. The 4 hour course may only be taken once every twelve months. If you have already taken a 4 hour class within the past twelve months, then you may be eligible to take an 8 hour course. |
